"omar's" story

many questions that led to eternal truth

Page summary

Islam has dominated life in North Africa since the 7th century. But God is sovereign, and He is working in North Africa. Remember, when we pray for people from any region, we are praying for real people – individuals with names – who are known and loved by God. “Omar” is one of them.

“Omar” was born into a large Muslim family. As a young man he was not satisfied with simple answers. When he read the Quran, he saw that the prophet Isa (Jesus) was different from all the others, and he wanted to know why. Since he had no answers, he asked the mosque leaders. But they told him to stop asking questions – because he was committing a sin!

Would “Omar” stop asking questions? Could anyone give him the answers he was looking for?
